Mastery of the technique of grinding in mass enables us to make femoral and humeral rasps in treated stainless steels where the rasp geometry directly matches the anatomic implant

Our grinders are 5 and 6 axis numerically controlled machines. We have adapted our own machining and grinder dimensioning programs for grinding teeth created on complex shapes. We are therefore able to make special teeth geometries to clients’ requests whatever the shape of the envelope of the rasp body is.

In order to correspond to the various types of implant and to meet design differences, we offer straight cutting teeth pattern or diamond teeth pattern but in every case we adapt the features of the teeth pattern. Because we are using grinding process according 5-axis programming, we can choose all the geometric characteristics: cutting angle, tooth angle, pitch, teeth lines angulations, tooth base radius, smooth area etc..., to meet the client’s needs.  Thus, each client can personalise his rasps depending on his particular functional constraints and marketing decisions.
